can i use cloth shin guards (instep) sparring gear in taekwondo tournaments?
and, i might buy Adidas microlight instep shin guards. do you think they would be better than macho instep shin guards. links are below:

I have the Adidas vinyl shin guards and instep and they are the best. I would buy those if I were you. As far as using shin guards in competition, your question has been answered by capitalctu already.
